Set up SuperMailOS, end to end

Short, accurate guides to the whole path: connect a mail app, point your domain, understand what we do for deliverability, lock down your account, and migrate your existing mail. Building something? The API, webhooks and MCP server are documented too. We run the mail server, so most of the hard parts are already handled.

Connect a mail app (IMAP/SMTP)

Add your mailbox to Apple Mail, Outlook or Thunderbird using mail.supermailos.com, IMAP 993 and SMTP 465, with an app password.

Read

Set up your domain's DNS

Point your domain at the mail server: MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC — one click on supported providers, copy-paste anywhere else.

Read

Deliverability & inbox placement

What we handle for you — DKIM signing, DMARC reporting, warm-up, IP reputation — and the sending habits receivers judge you on.

Read

Security: 2FA & sessions

Turn on two-factor authentication, manage active sessions, and use per-app passwords for mail clients.

Read

Migrate your existing mail

Move from your current provider without downtime: create mailboxes, copy mail over IMAP, then cut DNS across when you're ready.

Read

API reference

Read, search, organize and send mail from your own code. Scopes, rate limits, idempotency, errors and copy-paste samples in curl, TypeScript and Python.

Read

Webhooks

A signed POST to your URL when mail arrives, is delivered or bounces. Payloads, signature verification, retries and the delivery log.

Read

Connect your AI (MCP)

Connect Claude or ChatGPT with a sign-in, or point Claude Code, Codex or Cursor at your mailboxes with one URL and a key. Config for each client, the tool list and how to keep it safe.

Read

Agent inboxes

Give an AI agent its own inbox on your domain: a key that reaches only that inbox, a person's approval for new recipients, spoofed mail held back, and a pause of its own.

Prefer to check your domain first?

The free email deliverability checker looks up your SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX and MTA-STS records and explains, in plain English, what to fix.
